Parking lot drivers, it seems people lose all sense of how to drive when they enter a parking lot. It does not matter where I go, people either drive way too fast for a parking lot or fail to yield to pedestrians. I especially notice this at Wal-Mart and the ICC parking lots.
I don’t know how many times I have walked within a crosswalk and drivers disregard the signs that say “it’s the law, yield to pedestrians within a crosswalk.” We are not in Europe; those signs are put there for a reason.
Or for people that fly out of their parking space, slow down!! I drive slowly when pulling out of my parking space and I am glad I do. One day when leaving Wal-Mart I was about to pull out but took my time, thank goodness, because a little boy dropped something in front of my car and bent over to pick it up. Since I was taking my time I thankfully did not hit him.
For the safety of people, please take your time when you are driving. It would be horrible to have known you killed someone because you were in a rush. Slow Down!!

I'm convinced that my "wreck of a lifetime" will take place in a parking lot. Walmart? Forget about it! Geez, people, get a grip.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree. Everybody's pretty much in a rush all the time. Aground ICC, Walmart or the corner liquor store, not matter where you go everyone seems to be rushing. I lived on the East Coast for two years and from experience everyone congregates when rushing it's terrible.
ReplyDeleteAnother example, last year on Black Friday someone was trampled to death at the entrance of Walmart cause people wanted to save a buck and rushed in. Now they're instating policies so it doesn't happen again.
Too bad people don't see down to earth most the time.
Oh! I know! Another thing is when someone
ReplyDeletetailgates you in a parking lot! Geesh!
Lmao. Are you really that excited to get
a cart and take off into the store? At
the movies the other weekend my friend almost
got hit by a car, that was at least going
40/50 mph in the Rave parking lot. To me,
that seems insane and anyone willing to risk
the lives of others like that should not be
driving in the first place.
